  • Creative Heights is hosting a 4 day/3 night circus retreat from Friday 6th June 2025 to Monday 9th June 2025. Participants will be able to check into the retreat after 2pm on Friday 6th June and check out by 4pm on Monday 9th June. We will have a tour of the centre and safety talk at 3.30pm on the 6th and workshops are due to start at 4.30pm. However if participants are unable to attend the tour and safety talk, please let us know so we can ensure you receive all relevant information when you do arrive.

    Workshops will run up to 3pm on Monday 9th June.

    The retreat will aim to help artists develop their circus skill base, learn new disciplines and art forms and perfect their performance skills and act creation.

    The retreat will be held at Northcote Heavy Horse Centre, Sandy Lane, Great Steeping, Spilsby, Lincolnshire. PE23 5PS. Northcote Horses is a small but dedicated animal welfare charity that houses a range of horses and other animals. Participants of the retreat will have the pleasure of meeting some of the animals and there will be an opportunity to get involved with their day to day care. Animals housed at Northcote Horses include horses, llamas, pigs, birds of prey, alpacas and poultry.

    The number of participants at the retreat will be extremely limited.

    The cost of the full retreat is £250 per person. A deposit of £75 will be required to secure your place with the remaining £175 due by 01/05/2024. This may be paid in installments if required and can be arranged via email after submitting this form.

    This cost above includes all workshops, photoshoot with an edited photo and the opportunity to purchase more, food (main meals only) and camping space. Participants will need to bring their own tent and sleeping bags and any snacks they want etc...

    If you have a non participant wanting to camp with you at the retreat, they can come along for an additional cost of £75. However this is limited to one non participant per participating person. Non participating guests are welcome to stay and engage in the social aspects of the retreat but will not be permitted to participate or spectate the workshops, open training or other structured activities.

    If you would like to participate in workshops but would prefer to source your own food and accommodation, passes to attend the workshops only are available for £190 per person for the weekend.

    * Submission of this form demonstrates your intent to participate in the event described above and that you understand the costs involved. 

    * Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and we will work through applications in the order they arrive in our inbox.

    * After receiving your application form, we will send you an email confirming if a space is available at the retreat.

    * If a space is available we will ask for a £75 deposit to secure your space. This deposit is non refundable or transferable.

    * £75 deposit will need to be paid within 7 days of us sending your place confirmation email or your place will be allocated to the person next on our waiting list.

    * The remaining £175 must be paid prior to 01/05/2025 or your space will be forfeited. 

    * If you wish a bring a non participating person, the £75 cost for them is due at the same time as your deposit and is non refundable.  

    * If the retreat is cancelled for any reason by Creative Heights, a full refund will be issued.

    * Workshop Scheduling may mean it is not possible for you participate in all your chosen workshops. Timetables will be sent as soon as they are ready along with additional workshop availability.

    * Creative Heights can not be held responsible for any of our workshop instructors cancelling their sessions, however we will try to provide a similar alternative where possible if this were to happen. 

    * Non participating guests are welcome to stay and engage in the social aspects of the retreat but will not be permitted to participate or spectate the workshops, open training or other structured activities.

    * Please be aware the retreat is located within a working animal charity and occassionally animals do stroll into the training areas. We will ensure this does not compromise safety and does not happen during workshops but we can not guarentee the area is completely free of animal hair!

    * Participants are responsible for bringing their own tents/sleeping bags and any other camping equipment they may need.

    * Camping vehicles are permitted instead of tents. 

    * By participating in the event you are declaring you are aware of any risks involved in all activities and are responsible for your own safety at all times.

    I have read and understand the terms and conditions, and by submission of this form wish to be considered in the events above. I hereby, for myself, my heirs and my executors, waive and release any and all rights and claims I may have for damages against Creative Heights and/or their sponsors, agents or representatives for any injuries which may be suffered or damages/loss of property by attending, participating in or travelling to or from said event by submission of this form. Participation or attendance constitutes authorisation to use and reproduce any and all photographs, negatives or positives, proofs and prints taken during the event..
