Regina Piranhas Registration 2023

Thank you for your interest in the Regina Piranhas Summer Swim Club! We are looking forward to getting back in the pool this summer. 

Rules and Expectations:

• I give permission for my child/children to participate in practices, drills and swim meets with the Regina Piranhas Summer Swim Club Inc. (RPSSC) and do hereby state that my child/children are capable of meeting the physical and mental demands of speed swimming. I do not hold the Regina Piranhas Summer Swim Club Inc. responsible for any injury that may be incurred by my child/children while participating in speed swimming. 
• The Regina Piranhas has a policy of zero tolerance for bullying and harassment. We follow the policies of Swim Saskatchewan. Athletes or parents not following these policies will be asked to leave the club. In such circumstances all fees paid will be forfeited. 
• All fees are non-refundable after the first week with the exception that a swimmer is unable to continue due to injury or other medical condition and that written notification from a medical practitioner may be requested. These prorated reimbursements will be considered by the board on a case by case basis.
• For safety and liability reasons we request that family members do not accompany your swimmer on the pool deck during practices without the expressed invitation by a coach. As well, we require that all swimmers notify a coach whenever a swimmer leaves the pool prior to the end of practice for any reason. 
• RPSSC occasionally posts photos to our website and Facebook page (no names, no tags). If you would not like to have your child's photo posted online, please advise club president, Tracy Moser

Swim Meet Expectations

• The Regina swim meet will be held on Saturday July 22, 2023 at the Lawson pool. This is the Semi-final meet, the last meet before Provincials
• The RPSSC is a competitive swim club and swimmers ages 7 & up are required to attend the Regina swim meet. **In order to attend the Regina Semi-final meet, swimmers must attend at least one out of town swim meet** 
• Note: Additional swim meet entry fees may be applicable
• To ensure the success of our Regina swim meet, each family will provide a minimum of 2 volunteers for the meet
• We encourage all parents to take officials training and advance through the officiating levels so you can assist in various capacities for the swim meets
• Each swimmer ages 7 & up will be required to have a team t-shirt, team swimsuit & swim cap (if wearing a swim cap at meets). Clothing sales will be done during first week of swimming, additional fees apply

Registration fees ages 7 & up: 

• $425 1 child
• $375 for second child
• $325 for third+ children 

Registration fee for Mini's (ages 5 & 6)

• $175 siblings of older swimmers
• $250 non-siblings
