• Campus Housing

  • Room rate includes lodging, linens, and food. Campus housing is priced per night. Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 10am. Attendees may stay overnight in campus APARTMENTS any time between July 16 - July 21 and in campus DORMITORIES any time between July 15 - July 21.

    Food service starts with dinner on July 16 for apartments and dinner on July 15 for dormitories.  Food service concludes with lunch on July 21.  Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 10am.

    FULL PAYMENT IS DUE IN ADVANCE AND IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

    • Dorm 
    • Dorms are arranged in "units" with 4 bedrooms per unit, each bedroom has 2 beds.  Each unit shares 1 bathroom.  Beds may NOT be shared.

      We will try to assign single lodgers to a single bedroom with no roommate.  However, this is NOT GUARANTEED.   

      Families are permitted to stay together but unrelated men and women will be given separate units, as per the university guidelines.

      All minors MUST lodge with an adult.

    • Apartment 
    • Apartment-style setup includes two bedrooms that can house up to two people in one room and three people in the other. Includes full kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, and dining area with furniture. Please note, although Flex apartments include a full kitchen, guests are responsible for clean-up after use of any kitchen amenities.

      If less than five occupants are staying in the apartment, leave the occupant space blank.

      At least one occupant must be an adult age 21 or older.

  • Refund Policy

    Due to the nature of the contractual agreement the San Diego Suzuki Institute has with Point Loma Nazarene University, all lodging fees are due upfront and are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If, for any reason, campus housing becomes unavailble, all fees will be refunded in full.

  • Liability Waiver

    In submitting this form I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by San Diego Suzuki Institute during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by San Diego Suzuki Institute. I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless San Diego Suzuki Institute and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

    In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against San Diego Suzuki Institute. including all teachers and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.

  • COVID-19 WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND POLICIES

    The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be extremely contagious. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious potentially life-threatening illness and even death. The San Diego Suzuki Institute cannot prevent you or your child(ren) from becoming exposed to, contracting or spreading COVID-19 while attending the San Diego Suzuki Institute or being on its premises. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease. Therefore, if you choose to attend the San Diego Suzuki Institute, and/or enter onto Point Loma Nazarene University's premises you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.


    ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I have read and understood the above warning concerning COVID-19. I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself and/or my child(ren) in order to utilize the San Diego Suzuki Institute’s services and enter the San Diego Suzuki Instiute and Point Loma Nazarene University’s premises. These services are of such value to me and/or my child(ren) that I accept the risk of being exposed to, contracting, and/or spreading COVID-19 in order to utilize the San Diego Suzuki Instiute’s services and premises in person.


    WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/LIABILITY: I hereby forever release and waive my right to bring suit against the San Diego Suzuki Institute and its agents and employees, volunteers, board members and other representatives in connection with exposure, infection and/or spread of COVID-19 related to utilizing the San Diego Suzuki Institute’s services and premises. I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claims including for personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

     

    SAFETY POLICIES: Both myself (or any adult entering the premises) and my child will adhere to any/all safety policies put into place by the San Diego Suzuki Institute at the time of the event.  This may include handwashing and mask wearing. I understand that not following these safety measures may result in expulsion from the San Diego Suzuki Institute with no refund given. All eligible parties are strongly encouraged to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at least one month prior to the start of the San Diego Suzuki Institute

  • Medical Waiver

    I grant permission for a nurse, health center, or hospital staff to administer any necessary aid immediately to myself or my child(ren), referenced in this application should s/he they, or me become sick or injured while attending this event, and in the case of my child(ren), to do so without having to wait until I am contacted. In the unlikely event of physical injury resulting from your participation in this program, necessary medical treatment will be provided to you and/or your children and billed as part of your medical expenses. Costs not covered by your health care insurer will be your responsibility. Also, it is your responsibility to determine the extent of your health care coverage. There is no program in place for other monetary compensation for such injuries. However, you are not giving up any legal rights or benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.

  • Payment

    Room rate includes lodging, linens, and food. Food service starts with dinner on July 23 and concludes with breakfast on July 31. Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 10am.

    Dorm room rates are per person/bed per night.  Apartment rate is a flat rate regardless of the number of occupants (but a maximum of 5).

    PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR NUMBER OF NIGHTS.  If number of nights paid for does not match check-in/out dates, we will only reserve the number of nights paid for starting with check-in date.
