CNS Sanctioned Event Exception Request Form - 2026
As per the CNS Sanctioned Event Athlete Crossover Policy (here) and the Cheer Canada age grid.

CNS follows the Cheer Canada guidelines for crossover rules as a general rule, with some Level 1 R exceptions.

If you are requesting an exception to the crossover rule, age grid, or any other rule, for the purposes of a one-time exception-based circumstance, please submit this form FOR APPROVAL.

NOTE THAT SUBMISSION DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY EQUAL APPROVAL.

CNS will notify you if your request is approved or denied.

Note that if the fill-in athlete is more than 2 years outside the accepted age limits for the team, the submission will not be approved. You may still wish to perform the routine with the overage or underage athlete, but you would be ineligible for awards.
