    Enrollment Certification Request

    • Students wishing to receive GI Bill Educational Benefits must submit a Mid Michigan College GI Bill Enrollment Certification Request Form EACH SEMESTER. Please allow the VA (U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs) up to six weeks to process your benefits.

Veteran Students must maintain Academic Standards.

    • If a student fails to maintain Academic Standards and becomes Academically Dismissed, they will no longer be eligible to receive VA benefits at Mid Michigan College. Mid’s Academic Probation & Dismissal Policy can be reviewed in the most recent College Catalog which can be found at midmich.edu/catalog.
    • For any course in which a failing grade was received, the instructor must report the last date of attendance. If the date is prior to the end of the course, the SCO (school certifying official) is required to report it to the VA, and repayment of benefits may be required.
    • Only courses that are failed or for which the grade does not meet the minimum requirements for graduation (withdrawal, credit/no credit, failing grade, etc.) may be repeated and recertified.
