Heidelberg Alumni U.S. (HAUS) is pleased to announce two scholarships for the
month-long International Summer School of German Language and Culture at Heidelberg
University taking place in August 2023. This course allows you to improve your language
skills at Germany’s oldest university with students from all over the world.
The two, $1,000 stipends cover the course fees (EUR 730) plus some spending money.
They are available to qualified students enrolled at universities in the United States. We
are seeking candidates with strong academic backgrounds who can also fulfill the role of
ambassador for HAUS upon their return from Heidelberg.

Admission requirements: 18 years or older and enrolled at a U.S. university
Course levels: Elementary (including beginner), Intermediate, Advanced
Courses: 20 hours per week in the morning, additional seminars/lectures in the afternoon
Accommodations: Starting at EUR 360 per room for the duration of the course
Note: Students currently enrolled at Heidelberg University or who are already receiving a scholarship from a different source are not eligible for the HAUS Scholarship.
