Scholarship Application
On May 17, 2023, the 17th annual National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) Chicago Scholarship Luncheon will be held at The Union League Club of Chicago from 11:30am until 1:30pm CST located at 65 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60604. Our theme for this year is "Choose to Live with an Intentional Consciousness " Since 2006, we have awarded over $130,000 in scholarships to deserving students in the Chicago area. Through these scholarships, NAAIA Chicago is proud to reach out to the next generation of industry talent. In supporting the outstanding academic achievements and personal triumphs of these young people, we cement our legacy and invest in future leaders.

Reward: This application is open to high school seniors in the Chicagoland area with a minimum unweighted G.P.A. of 3.0 - 1 individual selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance during the 2022-23 academic year of $2,500.00 for the Ron Allen Award. 5 individuals selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance during the 2022-23 academic year of $2,000.00 each for the Insuring Excellence Awards.

The 6 individuals selected to receive this award will be required to do the following within 1 week of receiving notification from NAAIA in order to receive an award:
- Provide written acceptance of the scholarship to naaiachicagoscholarships@gmail.com
- Provide a brief bio
- Provide a quality, business appropriate headshot
- Sign a photo disclaimer to allow NAAIA Chicago to publish student photos
All applications must be submitted with the required attachments by April 10, 2023 at 11:59pm CST. Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation within 5 minutes of submitting your application, please check your spam/junk folder. All applicants will be notified of their application status by no later than May 6, 2023 at 11:59pm CST.
