  • Thank you for thinking of Assiniboine Park for your Event 

    Please note the following when booking events in Assiniboine Park:

    • Long standing annual events will be given the first right of refusal for the requested date for each season.
    • Ticketed events are not accepted.
    • Payment is due 30 days after you received the invoice and contract for your event.
    • Your booking is not considered confirmed, until we receive payment and a signed contract.
    • For EVENTS with over 200+ guests: a Certificate of Insurance shall name ASSINIBOINE PARK CONSERVANCY and THE CITY OF WINNIPEG as an ADDITIONAL NAMED INSURED with respect to the event held in the Park. A minimum limit of $5,000,000 in required unless revised amount is agreed upon by Assiniboine Park Conservancy. Proof of insurance must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.
    • EVENTS with an anticipated attendance of 4,000 people or more must arrange one or more of the following options due to the impact of people onsite (at APC's Request):
      • Pay, organize, and provide a Park & Ride system for attending guests of the event
      • Pay, organize, and provide Bike Valet services for attending guests of the event
      • Pay for additional rental of impacted surrounding locations (ie, Pavilion, Qualico Family Centre, The Leaf Event Hall, Picnic Sites)
    • The operation of irregular vehicles (Golf Carts, Gators, ATVs, etc) on roadways within the Park, whether closed to traffic or not is illegal unless authorized by the Province of Manitoba.
    • ALL EVENTS must arrange for Manitoba Hydro to identify underground electrical and natural gas lines before any tents are allowed to be staked on Assiniboine Park greenspaces.
    • APPROVED on site vehicles (Trucks, Trailers, Food Trucks, etc.) MUST provide plywood for under their tires to avoid damage to the grounds.
    • There may be more than one event taking place on the same day within the Park.
    • All Roadway Closure Requests must be submitted in writing one month prior to the event, however this will not guarantee the roadways will be closed. City permission will be required and requested through APC.
    • ALL RUNS/WALKS must start by 8:00 AM, unless a revised time has been agreed upon by Assiniboine Park Conservancy.
    • ALL RUNS/WALKS must follow the MRA Certified route, unless a revised route has been agreed upon by the Assiniboine Park Conservancy.
    • ALL EVENTS must follow the Public Health Guidelines and Restrictions at the time of the event. 
    • ALL CLIENTS and attending guests, vendors, and contractors must comply with Assiniboine Park Conservancy's General Terms & Conditions

    • Staked tents require line located by Manitoba Hydro to identify underground electrical and natural gas lines before any tents are allowed to be set up. 

    • Additional utility scans may be required at cost to client based on location.
  • Clients responsible for getting a Noise Permit from the City of Winnipeg and provide permit 72 hours to APC prior to event. All music events must start after 9am and end by 11pm.

  • Vehicles are not allow to drive on the green space, unless written premission has been granted by Assiniboine Park Conservancy.

  • Assiniboine Park Conservancy is not responsible for any damages or theft of belongings to site.
