  • FINAL CONFERENCE Invitation

  • The SHELTER Final Conference will be held on the 27th and 28th of April 2023, hosted at Palazzo Zorzi, UNESCO's Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe premises, in Venice, Italy. The time has come for sharing the results and experiences with the international community, thanks to the support and collaboration of all the Consortium members and the support of UNESCO.

    Sustainable Historic Environments hoListic reconstruction through Technological Enhancement and community-based Resilience (SHELTER) is a Horizon 2020 EU-funded 4-year project which was launched in June 2019.

    SHELTER aimed to develop an Operational Knowledge Framework to bring together the scientific community and heritage managers with the objective of increasing resilience, reducing vulnerability, and promoting better and safer reconstruction in historic areas.

    All the developments of the project have been validated in 5 Open Labs.

    The Final Conference will be organized as follows:

    1. Day 1. The 27.04 is the main event, with a conference open to the public, stakeholders, and all the partners, in the format of a hybrid event.
      Time: from 9.30 AM to 7 PM
    2. Day 2. The 28.04 is a side event that includes a trial and demonstration of some of the SHELTER tools. 
      Time: from 9.30 AM to 1 PM
