Open Call for Performing Artists
Situated on the shores of Lafarge Lake in Town Centre Park, Evergreen Cultural Centre (ECC) exists on the unceded, traditional and ancestral core territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation, which lies within the shared territories of the səli̓lwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Stó:lō, qiqéyt (Qayqayt), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) nations in the region known today as the Tri-Cities.
Evergreen Cultural Centre invites Artists, including Musicians and Street performers of all disciplines, to apply to our new Open Air Performance Series!
From July 8th – August 30th, 2024, our Open Air Series will offer free, 1 hour performances from Monday to Friday at 6pm. All performances will take place in a designated, outdoor area near Evergreen, and all artists will be paid for their time and promoted across our in-person and digital platforms.
All successful applicants will recieve:
- An artist fee of $100 per performance.
- A performance space which includes a tent for shelter,small powered audio system, and assorted basic audio equipment (mics, DIs, cables, etc.).
- Space/signage provided to highlight the artist’s work and social media to create connections.

*Please note that artists under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the performance
