Now in our third successive year, Liquid Gas UK is delighted to announce the launch of the Young Person in LPG Awards 2023 proudly sponsored by Vaillant. Young Person in LPG recognises the talented young people aged 35 and under who are working in and shaping the future of our industry. We celebrate their successes and raise awareness of the opportunities for career development and leadership in the LPG and renewable liquid gases sector.

The Young Person in LPG Awards will launch at the Installer Show, Birmingham NEC following the LGUK members meeting on 28th June. 

Nominations open on the 28th June and close on 18th September 2023. All nominations will be judged by an expert Awards Panel with winners announced at the Liquid Gas UK Annual Conference on the 2nd November 2022 in Liverpool.

Nominations can be from a colleague or a company nominating a candidate, or an individual nominating themselves.

 Nominations are open to those individuals working in Liquid Gas UK member companies.

What we are looking for: energy and enthusiasm, Professionalism, a ontribution to their teams' success and/or a contribution to customers, suppliers or stakeholders.

There are three categories:

 

Rising Star of the Year

Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry

Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023

Committed to a career in the LPG Industry

Not currently carrying out an apprenticeship

Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK

 

Apprentice of the Year

Those applying for Apprentice of the Year must be carrying out an apprenticeship at the time of application

Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry

Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023

Committed to a career in the LPG Industry

Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK

 

Outstanding Achievement

Those applying for the Outstanding Achievement Award must have been involved in a long or short-term one-off initiative, activity or action that has significantly benefited your organisation and/or the LPG industry

Currently carrying out in a role in the LPG industry

Aged 35 or under on awards day, the 2nd November 2023

Committed to a career in the LPG Industry

Organisation needs to be a member of Liquid Gas UK
