Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Pivotal Physical Therapy requires 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

We understand there may need to occasionally miss a scheduled appointment. However, please be considerate and provide at least a 24 hours notice. When you cancel (or miss) appointments without adequate notice, we are unable to fill that spot.

We cannot successfully continue business without implementing this policy.

Cancellation/No-Show Fee
There will be a $50 fee for each incident you are late, cancel, or miss an appointment with less than 24 hour notice. This fee will be collected at your next appointment. If no visit is scheduled, a bill will be mailed to you.

Attendance Policy
Additionally, your success in physical therapy depends on your attendance and your commitment to your plan of care. If you miss too many appointments or continually show up late, you will be removed from the therapy schedule until you are able to commit to the treatment process.

Reasons for removal from the schedule include:

• Excessive late cancellations
• Showing up late to multiple appointments
• No-hows (after 2nd incident)

Do Not Reply to the Appointment Text Reminder:
When you receive a text reminder of your appointment, please do not respond to the text that you must cancel. The text reminder is generated from our documentation system and we do not receive text responses. You must call or text 205-675-0051 to contact Pivotal Physical Therapy directly.
