GOONJ URBAN FELLOWSHIP  

Do you often find yourself wondering how you can make change happen and work towards impact? Or do you feel the urge to become a driving force in society? Does a positive mindset and optimism entice you too? 

Change your thoughts into action, Goonj is working on spreading happiness and is looking for young passionate individuals to join us in this venture. Its Urban Fellowship offers a ‘world of possibilities for individuals who aim to become doers rather than remaining thinkers. It provides an opportunity for individuals to understand themselves but also the larger social ecosystem, the dynamics, innovations, and how small things can bring about significant changes. 

Eligibility

• Young and filled with zeal 
  Although age is just a number, you ought to be 21 to 30 years by 31st July, 2023.
• Socially aware 
  Experience it all it takes, but we expect you to have graduated by 31st July, 2023.
• Speak with your heart
  Basic fluency in English and Hindi communication(reading, writing and speaking). 
• Adept with technology 
  Basic computer knowledge - Ms Office and other tools.

Additional Information  

• North-west-south-east, you could be anywhere
  You could be placed in any of Goonj city offices in the Fellowship journey. The location is subject to change in the duration of the Fellowship. You would majorly work in the urban front of the organisation with periodic exposure to rural areas. 
• Ready for challenges?
  As this Fellowship is about evolving you and taking you out of your comfort zone, we expect you to come with an open mind to accept the challenges relating to immediate travels, multi-tasking and rural set-ups.
• It's all about language and lenses
  The Fellowship cohort has Fellows from across India with diverse backgrounds, we expect you to have humility and empathy for each other. Come with lenses of acceptance and a language of respect.
• We embrace and encourage all 
  This is an all inclusive fellowship. We consider applicants from all walks of life, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation and other minority groups.
• Not everything that shines is gold
  The stark realities are often unexpected. We expect you to come with a mindset which would assist you to explore and understand the rawness of the society and the sector.
• From bullock-carts to tongas, adventure is on 
  The journey of 12 months is tough where you would be expected to travel in the most local mode of transportation and indulge in responsibilities with the team.
• Not an occupation but vocation
  We consider ourselves as a movement, therefore, working with Goonj is more about working with ideals and values than having a job mindset

We would support you with a stipend of Rs 20,000.``

शहरी फैलोशिप 'उन व्यक्तियों के लिए संभावनाओं की दुनिया' प्रदान करती है जो शेष विचारकों के बजाय
कर्ता बनने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं। यह व्यक्तियों को खुद को समझने का अवसर प्रदान करने के साथ बड़े
सामाजिक पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र, गतिशीलता, नवाचारों और कैसे छोटी चीजें महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन ला सकती हैं

योग्यता

• युवा और जोश से भरपूर
  हालाँकि उम्र केवल एक संख्या है, परन्तु आपकी उम्र 31 जुलाई, 2023 तक 21 से 30 वर्ष का होनी चाहिए।
• सामाजिक रूप से जागरूक
  यह सब अनुभव करें, लेकिन हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि आप 31 जुलाई, 2023 तक स्नातक हो जाएंगे।
• अपने दिल से बोलो
  अंग्रेजी और हिंदी संचार (पढ़ने, लिखने और बोलने) में बुनियादी प्रवाह।
• तकनीक में माहिर
  बुनियादी कंप्यूटर ज्ञान: एमएस ऑफिस और अन्य टूल्स

• उत्तर-पश्चिम-दक्षिण-पूर्व, आप कहीं भी हो सकते हैं - फेलोशिप यात्रा में आपको गूंज शहर के किसी भी कार्यालय में रखा जा सकता है। फैलोशिप की अवधि में स्थान परिवर्तन के अधीन है। आप प्रमुख रूप से संगठन के शहरी क्षेत्र में काम करेंगे और समय-समय पर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में काम करेंगे।

• चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार हैं? - जैसा कि यह फैलोशिप आपको विकसित करने और आपको अपने कम्फर्ट जोन से बाहर लाने के बारे में है, हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि आप तत्काल यात्रा, मल्टी-टास्किंग और ग्रामीण सेट-अप से संबंधित चुनौतियों को स्वीकार करने के लिए खुले दिमाग से आएंगे।

• बैलगाड़ी से लेकर तांगे तक रोमांच जारी है - 12 महीनों की यात्रा कठिन है जहां आपसे परिवहन के सबसे स्थानीय मोड में यात्रा करने और टीम के साथ जिम्मेदारियों को पूरा करने की उम्मीद की जाएगी।
• यह एक पेशा नहीँ, एक तरह का उद्यम है - हम खुद को एक आंदोलन के रूप में देखते हैं, इसलिए गूंज के साथ काम करने का मतलब नौकरी की मानसिकता से ज्यादा आदर्शों और मूल्यों के साथ काम करना है।
