WELDING PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR - WELDING COORDINATOR
This Award recognises professionals who are making a valuable contribution to the Australian welding and fabrication industry. The individual should demonstrate a high level of skill, knowledge or craftsmanship, be dedicated to their profession, and have professional development plans in place. To qualify for the Welding Coordinator of the Year Award, the individual will need to be assessed by Weld Australia as conforming to the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14731 (ISO 14731) and continues to perform the role of welding coordinator. IIW International Welding Engineer (IWE), IIW International Welding Technologist (IWT) or an IIW International Welding Specialist (IWS) qualification is preferred. Weld Australia reserves the right to not make an award in any specific category where the nominated candidates do not meet the required criteria
