Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, we as the breeder have the right to refuse any placement at any time. APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: I will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, I'll notify you. Because we cannot predict when or how many puppies we will be having in the near or distant future, we will only accept deposits when puppies are actually available. After the newborn pups turn a week old, approved homes will receive a link to make a non-refundable deposit on a puppy, and links will be sent out in the order approved applications were received. Please make this deposit within 48 hours of the approval e-mail. If you make a deposit, you are committing to buying a puppy from the litter. YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: Once puppies are between 2-3 weeks of age, we will begin the process of picking your puppy from pictures posted on the website. Puppies will be picked in the order of when the applications were received and approved. If per chance, the person before you opts out for whatever reason, this will move you up in line. We ask that you make a choice within 24 hours of notification since there may be other families waiting for a chance to choose. Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is non-refundable, no exceptions made. GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that woul
DOG: Any puppy from our home always has a home here as long as we are able to do so, so we ask, if you must rehome your Berner, to please contact us first. If we are in a position to be able to take back the puppy/dog, we will gladly do so. We do not wish for any of our pups or adult dogs to have to experience the fear and burden of life at a shelter. If we are able, we will take back the puppy/dog and rehome once we have found a suitable match. If distance is a problem, we will work with you to help find a family to adopt. REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our excellent family companions come with AKC limited registration papers. Full registration as stated above requires a significant increase in price for a Bernese puppy, male or female.
