Check In & Check Out times:
Check in time is 2pm.
Check out time is 10am. Guests may be required to pay additional fees if they check out late.
Bicycle Storage
For those who have bicycles, ERH offers a secure locked Bicycle Storage facility at the rear of the hospital. Please contact us should you wish to use these facilities and we can show you where they are located.
Car Parking
Car parking is available on the surrounding streets. Please do not park in signed areas that are for patients. This includes Pathology and ERH fleet vehicles.
There is also secure staff car parking at the front of the hospital which is accessed via Service Street. You will need your staff access card to use this car park.
Fire Brigade
Guests should be aware that they may be liable for any costs incurred should the Fire Brigade be called as a result of their actions. This includes setting off alarms through cooking in rooms, burning of candles, excess steam from showering with the bathroom door open, or leaving food unattended in the kitchen areas.
Noise Levels
Please be mindful when staying in our onsite accommodaiton that other guests may be sleeping and keep noise to a minimum.
Pets
No Pets are allowed.
Room Cleaning
All rooms are cleaned fortnightly by our cleaning staff. Please ensure your room is kept in a neat and tidy state and the floor free from personal effects to assist with cleaning. If you do not want cleaning staff to enter your room, please put up the Do Not Disturb sign provided.
Smoking
No smoking is permitted in the Accommodation Building.
Swipe Cards
When you check out, please leave your swipe cards at the Education Reception Desk. There is a locked box at the right of the desk for key returns if no one is at the desk.
Lost or unreturned swipe cards will incur a fee of $20 for a room and, $30 for ERH/Accommodation Swipe Cards.
Test and Tag
All personal electrical equipment brought in by guests must be tested and tagged and must be compliant with Australian Standards. This is a legislative requirement and a condition of staying at ERH Accommodation.
Under no circumstances are guests to bring in personal heating or cooling devices, and no cooking is to be done within the bedrooms.
Use of Kitchen
All guests are responsible for washing, drying and putting away of any equipment they use within the communal kitchen. Please be mindful of other guests and clean up the kitchen after each use.
Within the kitchen you will find a tub within the fridge and a shelf for dry goods, both labelled with your room number. Please ensure your food remains in the correct tub/shelf to avoid being thrown out. Food within the freezers must also be individually labelled with your name and date. Please ensure you remove all items that belong to you when you check out.
Visitors
Visitors are permitted to stay within a guests room, but a fee of $10 per night is applicable. Guests under 18 years are not permitted due to OH&S. For fire safety it is essential we are notified. Please email: accommodation@erh.org.au if you have an additional guest staying.
