Sedation
Some procedures (such as x-rays, ultrasound, cystocentesis, etc.) may require the use of sedation in order to complete them safely, and reduce patient stress and discomfort. If sedation is recommended by BEVC, I authorize the staff of BEVC to sedate my pet, understanding that risk is inherent with sedation, and that results cannot be guaranteed. I further request and authorize emergency treatment should it become necessary while under the care of the of BEVC.
