  • About the Event

    We are pleased to confirm that OACWA will host the Jambo Africa Festival 2026 on Saturday, 25 April 2026 and Sunday, 26 April 2026, and the Africa Day 2026 Celebration (Mr & Miss Africa Perth) on Sunday, 31 May 2026. Please note that both events are scheduled on long weekends, coinciding with the ANZAC Day and WA Day public holiday periods.

  • VENDOR NOTE

    Applications open 22 January 2026 and will remain open until all spaces are filled. Booth spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application. Please note: Jambo Africa Festival: All booth spaces are outdoors.Africa Day Celebration: Market stalls only are indoors.All approved businesses will be promoted before and during the event across OACWA’s communication channels, including our event booklet, Mailchimp, Facebook, and Instagram.

  • Please note: The stall fees listed below include the provision of the following:

    Marquees/Stall Spaces

    • Market stalls and service providers: 3m x 3m marquee/stall space
    • Food vendors: 6m x 6m marquee/stall space
    • Power supply

    Important: Food vans must bring and use their own generators.

    Africa Day (Indoor)

    • Market stalls: Table, chairs, and power access will be provided (no marquees).
    • Food stalls: Marquees will be provided, as food stalls will be located outdoors.

  • Please note that the $50 cleaning bond will be refunded after the event, provided your allocated stall/space is left clean and tidy following pack-down.

  • Acceptance Terms and Conditions

    1. Acceptance and Confirmation
      Successful applicants will receive an acceptance email and a draft invoice for their stall/booth. A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and cleared in the OACWA bank account. A receipt will then be issued as confirmation of your booking.
    2. Bump-in/Set-up Information
      Set-up (bump-in) instructions and allocated set-up times will be provided closer to the event date. Where possible, this information will be shared after payment is received.
    3. Stallholder Equipment
      For Jambo Africa Festival (outdoor stalls), all stallholders are required to provide their own tables, chairs, extension leads/power boards and any other equipment or materials needed to set up and operate their stall. For Africa Day (indoor market stalls), OACWA will provide tables and chairs and access to power; however, stallholders must bring their own display items, signage, and any additional equipment required for their setup, including extension leads/power boards where needed.
    4. Liability and Risk
      You agree to participate at your own risk and acknowledge that the organisers of the Jambo Africa Festival and Africa Day (including OACWA) are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage to property, or personal injury suffered by stallholders, staff, volunteers, or attendees in connection with your participation.
    5. Breach of Conditions
      Any stallholder who breaches these terms and conditions, or engages in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct, may be required to leave the event site. OACWA may also refuse future applications at its discretion.
    6. Alcohol-Free and Smoke-Free Event
      Please note that both events are alcohol-free and smoke-free. Stallholders and attendees must not consume alcohol or smoke (including vaping) at the event venue and must respect this policy at all times.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    For Cancellation, booking fees will be refunded in FULL if notification is received in writing before 06/04/2026 at 8am. No refunds will be accepted after the above date. (ALL NOTICE TO BE SENT TO admin@oacwa.com.au)
