Thank you for your interest in CTI's various employment programs. The following are some pre-screening questions to help us determine the best program for you and make sure you are eligible for service. Please note that all information provided is kept completely confidential and is not shared in any way.

    The title of the flyer says 'The Canadian Training Institute: WorkForce Challenge'. The Next Start Date is December 13th, 2021. The description of the program is that the WorkForce Challenge is a 15 week, group based supportive employment program. It lists who can participate: individuals who are currently not working or registered for school, those who experience barriers to gaining and maintaining employment or education due to emotional or mental health challenges (e.g. discomfort in social settings), must be 15-30 years old, must be legally entitled to work in Canada, must be willing to work 30+ hours per week, and must be willing and able to participate remotely. We offer 6 weeks of paid, pre-employment and life skills training, and a 9 week paid work placement. The locations listed are West, Central and East Toronto.     Some examples of common mental health barriers related to employment are anxiety before an interview, or struggling socially in a group setting. Feeling depressive and not having motivation to search and apply for jobs is another common mental health barrier.

If you are approved you will be provided with a calendar link via email to continue to the next step of intake or a follow up email. Sometimes this email may end up in your spam or junk mail depending on your permissions; please check these folders in your email to ensure you do not miss your booking email. If you received a resources sheet, unfortunately you are not eligible for program at this time.
