  • TPN in partnership with Tigray Communities Forum is awarding its second annual Zuher Ibrahim scholarship opportunity for students in our community. We will award 2 recipients $1,000, 2 recipients $500, and 4 recipients $250 in 2024.

    Application Deadline - MAY 1, 2024
  • Read the below requirements carefully before submitting your application. 

    1. To apply for this scholarship, you must be planning to attend or are currently attending college, university, or trade school. 
    2. If selected, you have to use the funds to pay for your educational expenses. 
    3. Applicants must be from Tigray or Tigrayan origin 
    4. Applicants must live in North America (unless you are abroad and planning to attend any of the institutions mentioned in point 1 in North America)
    5. Provide evidence of transcript and required documents
    6. Submit SAT and/or ACT test score. If already in college, you can submit your college transcript
    7. Plan to attend an accredited 4 years university, community college, within the United States or affiliated with a United States-based college or university.

    Application requirements:

    1. If selected, you have to use the funds to pay for your educational expenses.

    You may have the option to submit scholarship application for trade schools (subject to review and approval by committee).
