The following was agreed:

Private Tutors possesses tutor files, staff, management service of tutors and tutors’ schedules; as well as an educational advisory service. The client wishes to make use of the services offered by Private Tutors Egypt.

Article 1:

Mandate: The client is appointing irrevocably Private Tutors Egypt to ensure the centralization of the tutor’s salary, the transportation allowances and teaching material allowances which are owed to him/her by the client represented by Private Tutors Egypt and as per the price rate at the time of purchase.[1] Moreover, the client mandates Private Tutors Egypt to pay salaries, transportation allowances and teaching material allowances, and submit the pay slips for tutors.[2]

The present mandate is valid only when it is signed and dated. It allows Private Tutors Egypt to present the tutor to the client but does not induce any obligation of proceeding with the suggested tutor.

Article 2:

Private Tutors Egypt Responsibilities: To ensure all our clients’ safety and security, we

conduct criminal background checks on all tutors, we select only highly qualified and/or highly educated tutors, providing them with mandatory training prior to their work, as well as, during the period they are working with Private Tutors Egypt. P.T.E is responsible to familiarize all tutors with the various curriculums/syllabus’ and continually oversee the evolution of the tutor’s teaching methods.

Article 3:

Independence of Client: The tutor may receive instructions regarding his work directly from the client as well as Private Tutors Egypt as regards to the teaching means or methods to be implemented, the schedules, the frequency and the duration of the lessons.

The tutor assumes full responsibility for his/her teaching plan and educational activities while complying with Private Tutors Egypt’s training and values.

Article 4:

Fees & Payments: The salary of the tutor is the sole responsibility of the private employer. This remuneration results from an agreement between the client and Private Tutors Egypt. Prior to any intervention by a tutor, Private Tutors Egypt will have communicated to the tutor the proposed hourly rate and the tutor would have accepted it. In addition, the tutor will be paid a portion of his/her transportation costs and tutoring fees in accordance with applicable legal provisions. (These charges and fees are included in the rates proposed to the tutor. It is up to the tutor to manage his/her transportation accordingly).

Each class taught induces between the client and the salaried tutor, a fixed-term contract of use in the tutoring of one hour and materialized by hours-contract. The client must ensure that he/she has sufficient valid hours-contract to ensure the tutor’s salary. Private Tutors Egypt will ensure that the private employer has sufficient hours-contract and will seek to retrieve any unpaid worked hours on behalf of the tutor.

The sums received by the client will be transferred to the tutor after validation of the hours (to ensure that the tutors receive payments strictly for the hours completed).

Library membership fee is required for clients wishing to receive full access to our online library which includes books, workbooks, encyclopaedias and many educational tools. Membership can be paid online directly via the student portal.

Our educational services' prices as well as library membership fees are subject to yearly increase.

Article 5:

Purchase: payments are made via P.T.E's Website or Student Portal, with safe online banking security. Lesson fees are subject to change depending on the grade, subject and location. Paid packages are non-refundable; any remaining hours can be used for another student or for the following school year with adjustments on pricing if applicable (the client will be required to contact Private Tutors Egypt to defer their hours).

Article 6:

Clients commit to: Respecting the schedule set with the tutor, notifying the tutor in case of delay and agree on a replacement date in case of cancellation of a lesson.

Any cancellation should be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.

For all cancellation at the initiative of the client less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, the client will be required to validate the hour pertaining to the lesson that has been cancelled. Clients have the ability to make 2 last minute cancellation free of charge per tutor per year.

Article 7:

General Provisions: The client expressly and unreservedly forbids himself, during the present agreement and during the year following the termination of the agreement, to pursue, directly or indirectly, outside the scope of this mandate, his collaboration with the tutor presented by Private Tutors Egypt. If the client violates this provision, he/she would be violating the agreement. It is recalled that breach of the agreement is punishable by legal pursuit.

Clients agreeing to the terms and conditions of this mandate cannot use the information provided by Private Tutors Egypt regarding the tutor to their own profit i.e., clients cannot ask tutors to give lessons privately without the knowledge of Private Tutors Egypt, they cannot request the tutor’s presence at school meetings without referring to Private Tutors Egypt, nor can they recommend tutors to other parents/students unless parents have signed up with Private Tutors Egypt.
