Now Closed - I am interested in learning a Solo or Pas de Deux for this production. Please be aware that there is only limited space in the showcase production for Solo and Pas de Deux performances. You must be enrolled in other sections of the showcase performance to be eligible for a solo performance and currently in the L3: Ballet Progression and above. Acceptance is by order of submission and commitment to private coaching. *Solos are currently closed but choose if you would like express interest for the wait list.

Showcase Participation & Refund Policy

The Adult Ballet Centre Showcase is a professionally staged theatre production that involves significant planning and upfront costs, including venue hire, technical staffing, and production preparation.

By registering and confirming participation, dancers commit to the rehearsal and performance process. Participation fees reflect the cost of delivering the production and are non-refundable once enrolment is confirmed, except in documented medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances.

Dancers are expected to maintain regular training, attend rehearsals as scheduled, and prepare appropriately for performance.

Requests for exceptional consideration must be submitted in writing to the Adult Ballet Centre Director and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

PRODUCTION / THEATRE LEVY (REQUIRED)
This levy contributes to the professional delivery of the ABC 2026 Showcase, including full theatre hire, lighting and sound technicians, front of house staffing, stage supervision, and the presentation of both a matinee and evening performance. This levy is paid once per dancer, regardless of how many works you perform in. Cost is Inclusive of GST

Ensemble Participant
Covers your participation in the ensemble work including the Contemporary If you have chosen that option, this includes dedicated rehearsal direction, choreography, staging, and inclusion in both showcase performances, full dress and technical rehearsal. Cost is Inclusive of GST

This bundled participation option is for dancers choosing to perform in both ensemble and repertoire works. Cost is Inclusive of GST It recognises the increased rehearsal commitment and contribution to the production while offering a reduced fee compared to enrolling in both options separately.

Full cast Defilé (Add-on)
The defile is the final presentation peice that is the full cast that is choreographed by the ABC coaches and teachers, a stunning way to end the performance this will be a full caste rehearsal on the friday one week before the Performance season. Cost is Inclusive of GST

Pointe Performance (Add-On)
The pointe performance is rehearsed during a 15-minute session following the pointe class over the 6-week rehearsal period. Participation is subject to eligibility, current pointe enrolment, ( Pointe Level 2 and above).Cost is Inclusive of GST
