As part of its programme of community-building events, the SFPA is looking to run an International Day event after school in the summer term to celebrate the mix of cultures, nationalities and languages spoken in our school community.
As the SFPA programme currently has the Scavenger Hunt designed for younger pupils and their families, this event will primarily be for Years 5-8, with a view that it may evolve to encompass the wider school community in future years.
For the event to run and be a success we are looking for parents to host tables at the event to showcase different countries – to share some knowledge, experiences and culture through art, food, games, music etc.
If that sounds like something you would like to get involved with, please complete the information below to express your interest or contact firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s likely to be an after-school event on Friday 26th May, but this will be confirmed once we have enough parent support.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Karen Mignon, Secretary to the SFPA
