DCES Pet Blood Donor Program
Every day, hundreds of cats and dogs are in need of lifesaving blood transfusions. Just like people, pets may lose large amounts of blood due to surgery or trauma, or require transfusions to treat autoimmune conditions and other serious illnesses.
To help every pet and family in need of a blood transfusion, we rely on the invaluable contributions of our feline and canine blood donors. As the pet population continues to grow, so does the need for safe and reliable blood supplies.
To see if your pet qualifies to be enrolled in our lifesaving program, fill out the questionnaire below. If all the requirements below are met, expect an email from our team within 2 - 3 business days to arrange a detailed phone call about the program and its screening process, ensuring your pet is a perfect match.
