    THE GARMENT:

    • Make sure that the garment respects your model’s decency.
    • The Garment must be made of 75% salvaged, reused, and recycled materials. Items made from a majority of new or purchased items, such as duct tape, trash bags, fabric, etc., will not be considered. The idea is not to purchase new materials to make something unique, but instead to use items that would otherwise be discarded.
    • Make sure that your garment is safe. NO sharp edges, such as cut aluminum cans, wire, glass, etc.
    • You may use tape, glue, thread, etc., to piece your garment together.
    • Garments must cover at least 50% of the body. For example, a pair of pants, full length skirt, jacket that falls below the waist, full top with sleeves will qualify. Complete outfits and costumes are preferred. Accessories such as hats, belts, scarves, jewelry, etc., are allowed to compliment entries but will not be accepted as stand-alone garments.

    MODEL:
