  • WHAT: HarborWalk Village presents the 3rd Annual Half Shells on the Harbor
    WHEN: Sunday, November 12th, 2023 from 1PM-4PM 
    WHERE: HarborWalk Village, Destin, Florida 
     
    Get ready for the third annual Half Shells on the Harbor! We invite you to be one of the participating restaurants to showcase your culinary talent and creativity of your signature oyster and compete for the judge’s vote 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as People’s Choice. 
     
    ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:  
     
     
    Oysters to prepare  - Exact number will be determined closer to the event. Event goal is 1000 tickets *subject to change  
                      Each attendee will receive 1(one) oyster sample per tent.  
    10x10 space and tent  
    (2) 8’ tables  
    Linens, electricity, paper boats, napkins, paper towels, trash cans, and other necessary products 
     
    Please be prepared to provide 1000 tasting portions! You will be provided an exact number based on ticket sales, 1(one) week prior to the event.   Set up begins 8:30AM on the day of the event and breakdown begins at 4:00PM following the presentation of awards.  Additional information regarding load-in, load-out, and other event details will be provided prior to the event.  

    Oysters will be available for pickup prior to the event so that you and your teams are able to pre-shuck and/or prepare your oysters as you wish. Once the oyster delivery window is established, you will be contacted to set up a pick up time. For participants who do not wish to pre-pick up, your oysters will be distributed in two parts on the day of the event.
     
    Due to the nature of the event and trying to provide a variety of menu items, upon submitting your participation form we ask that you give us your 1st - choice recipe and 2nd - choice recipe to prepare for the event. If your 1st choice recipe has already been submitted and approved for another restaurant, you will be notified to prepare your 2nd choice. This will allow us to not have more than one restaurant preparing the same thing (i.e. oysters Rockefeller, etc.)
