All loose items removed from vehicle
Seats securely mounted

SUSPENSION*

	Student indicates OK
Steering linkage in good condition
Suspension & shocks in good condition
Wheels & tires are in good condition (no flat spots / cords)
Wheel bearings are in good condition

Engine compartment*

	Student indicates OK
Clean and tidy
No oil or fuel leaks
Minimum two throttle return springs (carbs)
Coolant hoses secure, free of leaks
Coolant catch tank present (1L minimum)
Exhaust system secured
Battery secured & terminals insulated

Vehicle exterior*

	Student indicates OK
Neat & clean
Body panels secure
No obscuring cracks in windshield (small cracks that do not impede driver view & chips ok)
Side window or window net in place
Brakes & taillights functional and present
Exterior mirrors (left & right) present

Driver safety equipment*

	Student indicates OK
Driver has helmet SA2010 / M2010 / DOT / ECE rated or newer
OEM or 4 / 5 point harness in good condition (safety harness required for roll bar equipped cars otherwise OEM belts recommended)
All passenger safety equipment shall be equivalent to that of the driver (if cage equipped, harness required, otherwise OEM belts are OK)
