SVP's Hire a Vendor Program connects our vendor members who have received support through our Small Business Empowerment Program with catering opportunities. With SVP staff by their side to facilitate and support, the program provides professional development while connecting clients to diverse businesses to make their event special.
To support our members and clients in achieving a successful event, SVP provides facilitation services including staff time to secure vendor/coordinate day-of logistics for vendor(s); contract negotiation; translation assistance; if food: support in planning menu item(s) with vendor(s).
Note: We ask that you submit a request at least TWO WEEKS in advance of your event, so we have adequate time to reach out to potential vendors. The minimum budget we are able to accommodate for each event is $500.

Additional services available for an increased fee on a case-by-case basis:
- Special menu development with vendor (outside of what they usually serve)
- Special serving wear / portion requests + serving wear orders
- Custom requests with non-food vendors
- Requests for more than two vendors for an event
The client (you) are responsible for providing:
- A contact person that is available and responsive in advance of and day-of event
- A safe venue (with security) for our vendors to operate in
- A place for vendors to park / use the bathroom
- Responsibility for any attendees that may be disrespectful to our vendors
- Event liability insurance
SVP DOES NOT PROVIDE:
- Venue scouting or management
- Decor or seating arrangements
- Event planning services outside of what is listed above
- Promotion of your event
Street Festivals
- If you are looking to invite vendors to participate in your street festival, we require a $1,000 minimum revenue guarantee for food vendor participation from
