The Springvale Bursary Initiative was set up to enable our students to be able to continue their career development after they leave us. By providing financial assistance to students from West Belfast is the main aim of this bursary programme and will benefit our vocational Learners in both our Skills for Life and Work Programme and our Apprenticeships.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria, Please tick where appropriate:
Applicants must be resident in the West Belfast Westminster Parliamentary Electoral Constituency. (Use the following website to check your postcode to confirm parliamentary constituency: http://www.parliament.uk/about/how/elections-and-voting/constituencies/ )
Applicants must be preparing to study or be currently studying on a full-time or part-time further education, higher education or vocational training course.
Additional Criteria, please note that the list below is not exhaustive and applicants are not required to meet all additional criteria listed below but it is preferable to meet at least two.

DECLARATION The 2018 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires us to have your written consent to hold your personal information within our records. Your information will be used by Springvale Learning to process your application, by the independent panel to assess your application, and to ensure that the bursary sponsor is content that you receive their Bursary. Your information will be retained by Springvale Learning for a six month period.

All applications are considered, with special consideration given to candidates who have significant barriers and hardship preventing them from realising their full potential through education, for example through economic or family circumstances. Bursaries of £500 - £1000 will be awarded to successful applicants.
