Requirements for workers and volunteers:
You must respect all species!
You must love working hard and getting dirty! You must have good communication skills. You must be 18 years or older with a high school equivalent diploma. You must be able to lift and carry a 50 lbs. bag of feed. You must have your own transportation. You must have your own health insurance. You must be available 1 day per week 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a minimum of six months to volunteer.
We are a family destination and follow a strict dress code: Dress code: Long pants or shorts just above the knee are required, no yoga pants, spandex, formfitting or short shorts. No tank, halter, tube, midriff, camisole, or spaghetti strap tops. No sandals of any type. Closed toed shoes or boots are required. No drugs. No smoking. No alcohol. No vaping. No cell phones.
