Community Purim Carnival 2023

We are excited to invite you to join us for a Community Purim Carnival on March 5, from 2-4 PM! Join us for an afternoon of Purim revelry, featuring carnival games, a costume parade, snacks, singing, an original Purim shpiel by Dor Hadash students, and more!

This event is hosted by Dor Hadash, Congregation T'chiyah, and the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, and is open to the public.

Costumes encouraged!
Participate in our hamantaschen swap! Bring a dozen or so hamantaschen to share with our attendees, and take some home! Please ensure that your hamantaschen are nut-free, and please LABEL your dish with its ingredients. Food does not have to be kosher-certified.
This location is a covered outdoor patio with space heaters, which will be in use as necessary.
This event will overlap with the Detroit Jews for Justice Purim Extravaganza. Learn more about that event here.

We invite you to donate $10 per family to attend. Dor Hadash families may attend for free. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
