Mini Grant Eligibility Requirements:
- Troop or Service Unit is in one of the cities or counties with Grant money available. Troops and Service Units in under-resourced communities receive priority.
- Troops must have at least 3 girls and 2 leaders as well as a current bank account.
- Service Units must have a Treasurer, at least one other SU Team volunteer, and a current bank account.
- Qualifying troop and service unit activities must be related to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, connected to one of the 4 program pillars (Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, Outdoors, STEM), and/or be part of earning one of Girl Scout’s Highest Awards (Girl Scout Gold Award, Silver Award, and Bronze Award).
Selected Troops will be awarded up to $300 and Service Units will receive up to $1500. A Committee of volunteers and staff will review the applications and award the funds. Applications will be accepted until all Grant monies are claimed. All troop and service unit awards must be spent by April 30, 2025.
Any groups receiving funding will need to complete a Summary Report no later than June 30, 2025 to include:
- Minimum 250-word summary of how they used the funds.
- Pictures of the girls/volunteers during the event or activity.
