The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation is pleased to offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for the 37th Annual Smithfield Ham & Yam Festival to help your business meet its advertising and outreach needs.

For nearly forty years, the Ham & Yam Festival has been an opportunity to shine a spotlight on our downtown businesses, our community, and the local nonprofit and civic organizations that are integral to Smithfield and Johnston County. We are looking forward to continuing that tradition in May 6, 2023!  At the festival, you will find 4-H, high school booster associations, the Kiwanis and Lions Clubs, scout organizations, Relay for Life, and so many more organizations that your sponsorship dollars support.

Ham & Yam Festival sponsors will receive exposure from media campaigns and promotions for the event. With a tax-deductible donation to our non-profit, we would be honored to attach the name of your business to the advertising dollars we spend in 2023!  In addition to the exposure that comes from the promotion of the festival, you will gain recognition from the audience attending the festival. With more than 15,000 annual attendees, it’s Smithfield’s largest event, and there’s no better place for your business to be represented!
