  • The Creative Writing Summer Camp is a five-day program for high school students ages 14-17. Led by professors from Widener’s Creative Writing Program, students write original poems, short stories, and creative essays as they explore and are inspired by the techniques of contemporary writers. Along the way, students engage in short writing activities, respond to each other’s work, and interact with Widener undergraduate humanities students—all while developing the skills to express themselves as part of a literary community.
