    Arthur Bea Williams Luncheon Honoree

Nomination Form for a Wonderful Working Mom you know.
  • Arthur Bea Williams was an amazing working mom who spent her life breaking down barriers for African American women with the utmost honor, decorum, and excellence. All as she raised her own daughter. She was a trailblazer throughout her career and was the first female African American City Councilor and the first African American Justice of the Peace of the City of Wichita Falls.

We will be honoring her and other moms in our community during this event. Moms who are to be recognized will be contacted in advance, given a complementary ticket, and asked to accept the award during the luncheon. Thank you for nominating a working mom to be honored on this day.

Tickets can be purchased through the Child Care Partners website. All proceeds from this event help provide scholarships for the children of working mothers to attend childcare and have support from Child Care Partners. This is a cause that was close to Arthur Bea Williams' heart as she was one of the trailblazers who worked to expand and support this organization throughout her lifetime.

  • Recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of local working moms and family of Arthur B Williams. There are three catagories as listed below:

New to Motherhood – These moms have children who are 6 years or younger, and they have developed innovative approaches to manage the 24/7 demands of infants, toddlers, clients and colleagues.

Established Moms – These moms have an oldest child between the ages of 7 and 17. They thrive on their busy lives and have positively impacted other working mothers with management skills and strategies.

Trailblazer Moms – These moms are categorized as pioneers of working motherhood. They began combining work and family at least 18 years ago and have artfully achieved leadership roles while raising their children.
