Job Summary
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for monitoring the Alika Health Initiative projects in order to improve their efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability. The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will also be responsible for evaluating the projects overall impact.
Responsibilities:
a) Monitor the progress of the project against predetermined milestones and targets.
b) Evaluate the effectiveness of a project in relation to its objectives, and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
c) Monitor deliverables against agreed timelines, quality standards and budget constraints.
d) Ensure that all project deliverables align with international standards.
e) Liaise with other departments, such as Programs and Finance to monitor project expenditures against budgeted amounts.
f) Ensure that all deadlines are met according to time schedules agreed upon with donors or other funding source.
g) Evaluate programs or projects concerning their sustainability, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
h) Prepare projects’ M&E report at the end of the month and quarterly and half year reports for Tumaini Project specifically.
The position is full-time based at our offices in Lanet, Nakuru.
The Gross salary ranges from KSh 40K-KSh 65K a month depending on experience.
You need a minimum of 5 years experince in M&E position in a busy organization to apply for this position.
