Job Summary
The Project Psychologist will provide psychological services to clients (mostly children and young adult below 24 years), develop treatment plans, and provide guidance and support to lay poviders and peers specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the psychology team in meeting its goals and objectives
- Provide clinical oversight to the team of psychologists
- Work together with other medical professionals to coordinate the care of patients across form our partner institution.
- Develop treatment plans for clients with mental health issues
- Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.
- Develop policies and procedures related to psychological services.
- Monitor the progress of clients receiving care from ou rnetwork of clinicians.
- Provide training and guidance to current team of lay poviders and peers specialist.
- Developing training and promotion material for Tumaini project.
The position is full-time based at our offices in Lanet, Nakuru.
The Gross salary ranges from KSh 50K-75K a month depending on experience.
You need a minimum of 5 years experience with vulnerable children as a therapist in a busy organization to apply for this position.
