Full-Time K-7 Students

• are completely enrolled at YouLearn for all courses
• are not registered at another school
• work primarily from home under the direction of a caregiver who runs the educational program collaboratively with one of our teachers
  

Full-Time 8-9 Students

• are completely enrolled at YouLearn for all courses
• are not registered at another school
• are assigned a mentor teacher who they meet with regularly
• work toward completing 4 courses per semester
• work primarily from home under the direction of a caregiver 

 Full Time 10-12 Students

• are enrolled in YouLearn as their main or home school
• take the majority of courses from YouLearn
  
• are assigned a mentor teacher who work to support graduation plans

Inclusion K-7 Students (approval needed for this program)

• are completely enrolled at YouLearn for all courses.
• are not registered at another school.
• work primarily from home under the direction of a caregiver.
• are assigned a curriculum instruction teacher who works with the student and caregivers to create a individualized education plan.
• are required to work with outside agencies and support workers as needed.

Inclusion 8-12 Students (approval needed for this program)

• may be dually enrolled to another school.
• work primarily from home under the direction of a caregiver.
• generally follow a four course semester program.
• are assigned a curriculum instruction teacher who works with the student and caregivers to create a individualized education plan.
• are required to work with outside agencies and support workers as needed.

Part-Time Cross-Enrolled Student (K-9)

• enrolled at another school, which is your main or home school
• taking the majority of courses from your main school
• taking courses at YouLearn that are needed and/or are not offered at their home school 

Part-Time Cross-Enrolled Student (10-12)

• enrolled at another school, which is your main or home school
• taking the majority of courses from your main school
• taking courses at YouLearn that are needed and/or are not offered at their home school 

Adult Non-Graduated Students

• are 19 years of age or over
• intend to graduate through taking course(s)

Upgrading Graduates (under 19)

• can take YouLearn courses for free provided 
  • they have graduated and
  • are 18 or younger on June 30, 2022
• can take new or previously taken courses (to upgrade a mark)

Graduated Adult (over 19) Students

• may upgrade or take new Math/Science courses(s) and Ministry approved courses for free.
• may take non-approved courses for a fee (contact our office for details)

Courses are expected to be completed within the Semester or within one year of your start date.

COMMITMENT/AUTHORIZATION

• I can seek help from YouLearn teachers at any time while working on my first assignment.
• I am enrolled once I submit my first assignment and complete the Student Commitment Form.
• Upon enrollment I will create and follow a study schedule, and establish a consistent routine for submitting assignments.
• I will follow a teacher approved course completion timeline.
• I will avoid rushing through my course(s).
• I must complete my course(s) within 12 months from my start date.
• I must write required exams and provincial assessments.
• I will be withdrawn for ongoing inactivity.
