In June 2023, ASI and four partner organizations are welcoming instructors from Sätergläntan Institute for Craft in Sweden to Minnesota. The three days of courses in Minneapolis are an extraordinary opportunity to work with some of Sweden's foremost experts in traditional Scandinavian craft. With the support of the American Scandinavian Foundation, eight full scholarships are avialable for the Minneapolis coursework. Due to high interest, ASI and its partners are releasing scholarship applications before registration, with a priority deadline of March 19.
We anticipate that most or all seats will fill soon after the member on sale of these classes on Friday, March 24, possibly before the sale to the general public begins on Monday, March 27. Successful scholarship applicants will be reserved a spot but are asked to finish their reigistration by Friday, March 31. Any applicants not selected for scholarship funding may still register for the class at full price according to their membership eligibility starting March 24 or 27.
