  • Chapter Member Commitments

In order to become a chapter member of the Los Angeles chapter of The (&) Campaign, all must agree to the following:

    Read in separate page here

    1) Affirmation of The Apostle’s Creed:

To ensure a broad but united and orthodox embrace of the Christian faith, all (&) LA Chapter Members must affirm The Apostle’s Creed, contained below:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

          creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit

and born of the virgin Mary.

       He suffered under Pontius Pilate,

       was crucified, died, and was buried;

       he descended to hell.

The third day he rose again from the dead.

       He ascended to heaven

and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.

From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

       the holy catholic* church,

       the communion of saints,

       the forgiveness of sins,

       the resurrection of the body,

       and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places

    2) Commitment to Christ-Like Engagement w/Others

To ensure our members have shared values around our character and witness, we commit to the following approaches to public life:

    • Clearly articulating our values with conviction
    • Humble and learning posture towards particulars policies
    • Treating other viewpoints with respect and civility

    3) Participate in activities and engagements with the LA Chapter

While we do not expect all chapter members to be able to participate in all activities, we do expect regular participation. This avoids creating a disengaged chapter but readies us to grow together, engage together for the common good of our city, and for the glory of Jesus in the public square.
