1) Participants of the guided tour are requested to arrive on time. If any participant is late, the institute reserves the right to start the tour as scheduled and adjust the route accordingly.
2) As the courthouse serves as a training center, there may be classes or training activities ongoing during the tour. Visitors are requested to minimize any impact on the classes. In this case, the use of recording equipment is restricted, and any actions involving photographing or filming students or participants must be approved by the institute.
3) As the venue is a Grade III historic building, visitors must take care of the artifacts. The institute reserves the right to pursue liability for any damage.
4) In case of any accidents or emergencies, please notify the institute staff immediately.
5) The institute reserves the right to ask any participant who violates the above rules to leave.
6) On the day of the tour, please bring the confirmation email issued by the institute and a valid identification to verify your identity.
7) Under the following adverse weather conditions, all reserved regular public guided tours will be automatically canceled without further notice:
When the Hong Kong Observatory issues a No. 8 typhoon signal or higher, and that signal remains in effect after 8:00 AM;
When the Hong Kong Observatory issues a red or black rainstorm warning, and that warning remains in effect after 8:00 AM;
If the Hong Kong Observatory issues a No. 8 typhoon signal, or red or black rainstorm warning during the tour, outdoor tours will be immediately terminated. Participants must follow the instructions of the staff at the Youth Leadership Institute to proceed to a safe indoor location until the wind or rain subsides.
8) The institute has the final decision-making authority regarding guided tour applications.
