  • *This highest yoga tantra (HYT) initiation will be open only to successful registrants meeting the prerequisites.

     

    This initiation is meant for serious practitioners who have a stable grounding in the learning and practice of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lam Rim).

    Lama Zopa Rinpoche has emphasized before that "of all practices, the main one is meditation on the lam-rim in order to gain lam-rim realizations. Tantric practice is secondary."

    Receiving this initiation entails taking the Bodhisattva vows, Tantric vows, and tantric commitments, as well as taking H.E Ganden Tri Rinpoche as your tantric guru.

     

    PRE-REQUISITES

    Students wishing to take this highest yoga tantra initiation must:

    • have and maintain stable faith in the Triple Gem and the Vajra Master, H.E. Ganden Tri Rinpoche
    • have received Dharma teachings and are familiar with the stages of the path (lam-rim) teachings
    • Students are required to attend all sessions in person and must honor all the vows & commitments for receiving the respective initiations. This initiation is not to be taken as a blessing.

     

    LIFETIME COMMITMENTS

    ·     Keep the bodhisattva and tantric vows.
    ·     Do the daily practice of Six-Session Guru Yoga.
    ·     Do the daily practice of Yamantaka Short or Long Sadhana

    Note: Students must be prepared to take on any additional commitments that may be given by the vajra master.
