Volunteers are required to confirm with the teacher or staff supervisor if any students they will be working with, are at risk of allergies or anaphylaxis and what their triggers are. Volunteers must inform the supervising staff member immediately if they suspect any symptoms of allergies, anaphylaxis or any other medical issue. Volunteers should record the Bialik College Emergency Number (03) 8823 5111 (usually in their mobile phone) which can be used for any type of emergency or concern – including medical.
