Job Description: Soft Play Centre Staff

Job Summary:
As a Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children and their families. You will assist in supervising play areas, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer service, and supporting events and parties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and provide information about the facilities.
• Assist with bookings, payments, and admissions.
• Address customer questions and resolve any issues professionally.
2. Child Supervision & Safety:
• Monitor play areas to ensure children are playing safely.
• Enforce centre rules to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Provide first aid when necessary (training will be provided).
3. Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Regularly clean and sanitize play equipment, seating areas, and restrooms.
• Ensure all areas are tidy and hazard-free.
• Report any damages or maintenance issues to management.
4. Party & Event Assistance:
• Help set up and manage birthday parties and events.
• Serve food and drinks in designated areas.
• Engage with children to create a fun experience.
• Deliver any activities required. These may include facilitating Laser Tag, Nerf Warz, the Gaming Lounge, and the Pamper Palace. You may be required to undertake the following tasks- facepainting, glitter tattoos, balloon modelling, mascots, and other activities for parties.
5. Food & Beverage Handling:
• Prepare and serve snacks, drinks, and light meals.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food.
Skills & Requirements:
• Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to engage with children and families.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in childcare, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
