Below, you can read the Ethical Guidelines. The board of directors, and all committee members read, follow and sign the Ethical Guidelines. Please take a few minutes and review it:
Members Should:
· Always strive as volunteers to serve the best interests of the Association as a whole and the community we serve, regardless of any personal interests.
· Use sound judgment to make the best business decisions we can, taking into consideration all available information, circumstances, and resources.
· Act within the bounds of the Board’s authority, and the Committee responsibility as defined by law and the governing documents of the Associations, and Board directions.
· Perform our duties without bias for or against any individual or group of owners or non-owner residents.
· Disclose any personal or professional relationships with any company or individual who has or seeks a business relationship with the Associations.
· Conduct open, fair, and well-publicized elections to join the Board or a Committee.
· Always speak with one voice as a Board or Committee, to support all duly adopted Board or Committee decisions – even if the Member was in the minority regarding actions that may have been taken by the Board or Committee. For any Committee decision reported to the Board, there may be both a majority report and a minority report, to inform the Board.
Members Should Not:
· Reveal confidential information provided by contractors or share information with those bidding for Association contracts, unless specifically authorized by the Board.
· Make unauthorized promises to a contractor or bidder.
· Advocate or support any action or activity that violates a law or regulatory requirement, though in a private capacity any Member can advocate a change to law or regulation.
· Use the Member’s position or decision-making authority for personal gain or to seek pecuniary advantage over another homeowner or non-owner resident.
· Spend unauthorized Association funds for their own personal use or benefit.
· Accept any gifts, directly or indirectly, from homeowners, residents, contractors, or suppliers.
· Knowingly misrepresent facts in any issue involving Association business.
· Divulge private information about any owner or resident that was obtained in performance of Board or Committee duties.

· Harass, threaten, or attempt by any means to control or instill fear or personal harm in any Board member, Committee Member, homeowner, resident, staff member or contractor.
· Reveal to any homeowner, resident, or third party the discussions, decisions, or comments made at any meeting of the Board or Committee properly held in Executive Session
