The Canmore Summer Theatre Festival (CSTF) is an annual outdoor theatre festival. A unique aspect of the CSTF is that volunteers from Pine Tree Players perform alongside and learn from theatre professionals and emerging artists.
This year, the CSTF team is excited to present Dracula by Kate Hamill loosed based on the novel by Bram Stoker, directed by Shelby Reinitz and The Snow Queen by Charles Way based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen, directed by Kelsey James. Performances will take place outdoors at the Stan Rogers Stage in Centennial Park, Canmore.
The CSTF is currently seeking applications to be a part of our 2024 Production Team. We welcome applications from community theatre volunteers and theatre professionals. Preference will be given to qualified volunteers and being based in the Bow Valley is an asset. Past applicants and participants of previous years’ CSTF must apply again to be considered.
We encourage submissions from diverse artists of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Theatre professionals that can demonstrate professional experience, expertise, and/or post-secondary training are eligible for compensation to be negotiated based on qualifications and available funding.
