Welcome to our Spring 2023 Plant Sale! This spring we have chosen a beautiful selection of plants that fall into one or more of the following categories: Texas Superstar®, Texas Native/Adapted, and Pollinator Friendly (Descriptions of each are available at the end of the order form). We consulted local beekeepers, Master Naturalists, and butterfly conservationists, and studied Earth-Kind® plants in our area to bring you a selection of plants that include heat and drought tolerant options, as well as bee, butterfly and hummingbird favorites. These are plants that we have grown and will continue to buy and plant in our yards, right here in Rockwall County. We hope you are as excited as we are to browse our selection. Happy Shopping!

Texas Superstar® - Every plant earning the Texas Superstar® designation undergoes several years of extensive field trials by Texas A&M AgriLife Research. They must be super-performing plants under Texas growing conditions. During the field trials, plants receive minimal soil preparation, reasonable levels of water and no pesticides.
TX Native/Adapted - A native plant is one that lives and grows naturally in a particular region. They thrive in our soil conditions. Native plants are more tolerant of heat and drought and tend to be more resistant to native insects and diseases common to North Texas. Well-adapted plants are species of plants originally native to other regions of the world that have become acclimated and established to our area.
Pollinator Friendly - Pollinator plants are flowering perennials, annuals, or shrubs that provide the nectar and pollen essential for a flourishing pollinator population. They also provide shelter and overwintering habitat for pollinators.
