Why are you applying for this scholarship?
Having a disability while trying to meet people is challenging. Often, people tends to judge based on external factors, assuming that a disability means the person isn't as fun to be around. I want to break this notion, show that people with disabilities can be fun and laugh at themselves, and accept others jokes as well.

Often being rejected because of my disability - in dating, making friends, etc. People aren't sure how to react to others' differences. This led me to almost wanting to hide my disability. However, I'm proud of it and wish others would know that and be able to look beyond it.
