  • What is Camp?

Camp is action-packed, week long holiday for young people.

We are passionate about young people enjoying themselves and having a week they will always remember. There is the oppertunity to experience new things and make new friends as well meet up with old friends. We look to offer something for everyone, whether your sporty or a craft person, whether you like to get into "the thick of it" or just to sit back and chill there's something for you! Get involved with games such as football, rounders and bucketball. Challenge your friends in activites that will see you get wet, messy and rolling around in stitches, or maybe you'll be the champion of the pool or table tennis touranrament?! And of course there are plenty of outings, which in previous years have inculded; high ropes water assault course, beach trips, trampoline park...all the "time tested" classic camp activities to enjoy!!

But at the heart of all that goes on is the Christian message. Each morning and evening we have meetings which include singing, memory veruses, quizzes and Bible teaching. Juniors will discover amazing stories from the Bible and learn about the life of a remarkable missionary. Teens will delve deeper into God's word uncovering its' revelance for them today, and hear real-life stories from some of the leaders.

    Location

This year the camps are being held at the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh. The bible college is an excellent, self-contained facility with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for young people to enjoy. Campers sleep in shared rooms either in single or bunk beds with access to hot showers. Our qualified kitchen staff provide excellent food, and plenty of it!

  • Information for Parents

    Safety
Safety is taken seriously throughout the duration of the camp. All outdoor pursuit activities, (if applicable) are carried out under qualified supervision. The Faith Mission has a Child Protection Policy and all leaders and helpers are subject to this.

    Leaders
The camps are run by experienced leaders, some of whom are full time Christian workers, others are volunteers. There is a high ratio between leaders and children/teenagers. Leaders undergo a robust vetting proceedure.

    Special Needs
Whilst recognising that all children are special, some may have needs that require extra support. It is our aim to include them at our camps, within the guidelines of suitable provision and staffing. To do this we ask that all parents provide us with full details of their child’s special needs at the time of booking. We will then be able to assess what is the best action for all concered.

    Applications
Please note that the child’s age is at the time of camp. A camper will not be booked until a deposit is paid and a full application and medical form is completed.

The Faith Mission reserves the right to:
    Refuse any application
Alter or cancel a camp where necessary
Ask a camper to leave the camp if their behaviour is incompatible with the general enjoyment and well being of others.

    General Data Protection Regulation.
The Faith Mission will hold your details on file for the purpose of future youth and children's events but will not release the information to any third party.  Our privacy policy can be viewed here: https://faithmission.org/privacy/
