    If you are nominating a speaker, including self-nomination, please fill out the form below on or before April 14, 2023. TEDxWrigleyville will no longer accept nominations or applications after April 14, 2023. PLEASE NOTE the precise date and location of our 2023 event is not yet determined, but will be finalized before we send out talk offers and is likely to be mid-August.

  • *Please note if you are chosen as a speaker but do not comply with these commitments, TEDxWrigleyville has the right to withdraw your invitation to speak

  • Financial Compensation

    Note that TED prohibits any form of financial compensation from being awarded to speakers. TED further prohibits any form of financial contribution from speakers. TED is a non-profit with a mission to share ideas worth spreading, as such, its rules regarding the elimination of financial gain or payment by speakers is intended to prohibit favoritism or any pay-for-play situation by speakers. If TEDxWrigleyville gives any form of financial compensation to its speakers, its license will be revoked by TED and the speaker’s talk will be removed from the TED library. TEDxWrigleyville does not set or control these guidelines.

  • PRIVACY:

    Before submitting your nomination, please review how TED processes the personal information you provide to us:

    • We will evaluate your nomination and will share this information with staff members and third parties selected to review speaker nominations.
    • There is no deadline for nominating a speaker. If you've submitted a nomination, it will stay in our database to be considered for future conferences.
    • Your information will be processed in accordance with TED's privacy policy.
    • TEDxWrigleyville will not share the information in the application publically, except to publicize your involvement only if the speaker is selected to speak.
    • While there is a deadline for applying to speak or nominating a speaker, if you've submitted an application/nomination and were not accepted, your application/nomination will not be deleted and will stay in our database to be considered for future events and speaking opportunities. If you would like your information to be deleted if you are not selected, please advise us in writing.
    • We endeavor to respond to each and every submission. Due to volume, however, responses might take some time. Please be patient with us and our volunteers.
    • Please reach out to admin@tedxwrigleyville.com if you have any concerns with TED managing your data.
